Apple Pie!

This apple pie is made with just 6 ingredients - Almonds, Flax Seeds, Apples, Cinnamon, Maple Syrup, & Vegan Butter. It is SO delicious and healthy! Indulging in this dish is good for your body + soul.

Recipe: 
Mix 2 Tbs Flax + 6 tbs water & let sit for 10 minutes. 
Slowly mix with 2 cups of almond flour. 
Roll into a ball, cover, and let chill for 30 minutes. 
Prep Apple Filling- 
Thinly slice two apples 
Toss with 2 tbs maple syrup, 2 tbs coconut oil, + 1 tbs cinnamon

Press almond flour mixture into pie dish, spreading it evenly throughout the bottom and along the edges. Arrange apples in a circle, starting from the edges and going down to the middle. Pour the extra apple filling liquid over the pie. Let bake at 400° for 30 minutes, or until the crust is slightly browned and the apples are soft. Let cool & serve with coconut ice cream or on its own!
